Background:
Hall Garth is a mixed comprehensive day school for 11-16. It promotes a caring and responsible attitude within the school and community and seeks to encourage all to have high esteem. In September 2001 Hall Garth became a specialist school for the performing arts. It has its own qualified climbing instructor and an indoor climbing wall as well as an extensive range of equipment for pupils to loan. The school offers archery as an activity for pupils to participate in both on residential and at an after-school club. Pupils will become competent enough to participate in local and national junior archery competitions. The school runs an extensive Duke of Edinburgh award programme. The school aims to provide a secure, caring community in which children can develop their own individual talents and fulfil their potential.
