Background:
Huntcliff School is located in the small seaside town or saltburn. It has gained Specialist Status as a Humanities College from September 2005. Academic achievement is high and it offers a wide range of curricular trips and visits. It is involved in the local community through fundraising and support for saltburn in bloom and saltburn forward. The school offers a wide range of extra-curricular sport including football, hockey, basketball, netball, gymnastics, cross-country, rounders and athletics. Many of these activities are played on a league structure within Redcar and Cleveland district. The school has high expectations based on an ethos or respect for each other and pride in its achievements and place in the community.
