Background:

Huntington school has technology college status. During the thirty years of the school's life the various extensions have produced a complex of buildings. The school has a main hall, gymnasium, sports hall, specialist physical education classroom and all-weather sports facility and also other science and technology facilities. There are 22-acres of grounds, 16-acres of which are playing area. The school mobile classrooms are being replaced by a new building this year. This will include state-of-the art dance and performance facilities, a new music and history departments, a refurbished sports hall and new community resources. The school has a full program of extra-curricular activities. These vary each year but typically include sports activities like hockey, netball, football, rugby, tennis and cricket. The school aims to provide an ordered, caring, supportive environment, which encourages the academic, social and personal development of each individual.
