Wistow Parochial Church of England Voluntary Controlled Primary School is a village school, which has been serving Wistow and the surrounding area since 1877. The school building dates back to 1877 with additions in the 1920's and 1950's. It was further re-modelled in 1993 and a new classroom added in 2000. The school has two permanent classrooms and a hall, which is equipped for staff room and three temporary classrooms. It has a field, which is large enough for games. There is wheelchair access to the main building. These are used for recreation and as an environmental resource and everyone helps to keep them clean and tidy and looking attractive.
